SMS & voice   /   Beta, by invitation

Text, call, and keep the conversation together.

Your workspace's texting numbers, AI-assisted SMS replies, and basic calling in the shared inbox. Understand activation and usage before you buy.

Self-serve SMS & voice

Everyday conversations

Staff texting, a separate SMS AI agent, a shared conversation inbox, assigned phone numbers, and in-app calling after activation.

Texting and calling have separate readiness requirements. See their status in the app before using either channel.

Restricted during beta

Advanced contact-center tools

Supervisor listen-in, whisper, barge, queues, and other advanced controls are restricted and separately enabled. They are not an entitlement of a standalone SMS plan.

Ask the team about access. Buying SMS & voice does not unlock these controls or promise recording and transcription of every call.

Before your first message

Payment is one step. Activation is another.

  1. Purchase the plan for your workspace.
  2. On desktop, submit your business registration, messaging use case, sample messages, and opt-in process.
  3. Complete carrier review and provision numbers. Texting numbers must be linked to the approved campaign.
  4. Check the app's separate texting-ready and calling-ready statuses. Calling also requires voice configuration and an active calling number.
  5. After readiness is confirmed, use a controlled test recipient to check texting and calling before enabling the intended workflows.

Carrier approval and number availability are outside Automate Admits' control. No approval date is promised. Mobile shows status and numbers; setup and changes happen on desktop.

Understand what is counted

Contacts: new SMS contacts admitted during the cycle.

AI tokens: the SMS agent's separate AI allowance.

Carrier text segments: the billable parts of a text. A long message or some character sets can use multiple segments. One text is not necessarily one segment.

Voice minutes: calling usage, separate from text segments.

Numbers: the maximum active phone numbers included by the plan.

Existing SMS top-ups add AI tokens and contact capacity. They do not add carrier segments, voice minutes, or phone numbers.

Compare the complete monthly allowance.

Growth$9504,00015,3001,70063
Scale$1,7009,00038,2503,825123

Seats are shared across channels. A Messenger & Instagram plan or All-In bundle sets the shared seat allowance; standalone SMS has 3 seats at every tier.

When you reach a limit

At the carrier segment limit, incoming texts stay in the inbox and both staff texts and AI SMS replies pause. There is no staff override. At the voice-minute limit, outbound calls pause; inbound calls are not blocked by that limit.

An owner or admin can manage the SMS plan to add plan capacity. An AI-token/contact top-up does not restore carrier segments.
